I've simulated last week a timezone change at home with 4 hours backwards. For that I switched off the automatic time zone adjustment (like written in the docs) on my mobile phone and turned the time back. The display of AAPS went then 4 hours back and showed the grafic of that time, a countdown of 240 min started. It was not possible to receive bg for exactly these 240 min. After the time had past, the bg came again every 5 min.
During the countdown of the switched time the AAPS repeated the TTs like it was in the past.
After this test, I turned the time forward again - 240 min to the CET. This change worked immediately. I've turned then the automatic time zone adjustment on, on my mobile phone, and everything worked like before, without problems. There was a gap of 240 min in the bg-line on the grafic.
I have the immpression, that the time zone magnagement of AAPS is not implemented like in any other software. Example: When sending a message per WhatApp from another timezone (e.g. 4 hours backwards), the timestamp of this message will be adapted to the receivers time.
The Pod asked immediately in AAPS after changing the time to adapt the time on the pod.
I ask myself if it is possible, when changing the timezone backwards not having the same waiting period, without the bg from the sensor.
At the end I want to say a big "thanks" to all of you for this fantastic App!!
Would appriciate your answer and your informations!!
Note the precise time the problem occurred and describe the circumstances and steps that caused
the problem
Note the Build version (found in the About dialog in the app, when pressing the three dots in the
upper-right corner).
