Needs 'how to cite this book' on the main page/readme #144

This work could use a suggested citation format for a page from this book on the readme/landing page, as the authorship is complex, and this would make it easier for people to comply with the BY part of the CC license we are using for the work.

This is an excellent task for our very skilled group! I'll add it to the next meeting agenda to discuss. Thank you.

Thanks, @sarasrking ! Maybe every page needs its own 'how to cite this page' down the bottom, as authorship would be different for each page? Maybe the group could look at what the CC license requires in terms of attribution, in addition to APA guidelines around multi-authored webpages/books.

@sarasrking , it's now been two months since I raised this issue - has there been any progress on this matter?

sarasrking commented 2 years ago

Thanks Jenna. I don't believe we have made any progress on this as yet. I'll raise it again this week at our meeting. Apologies!

@TripleLindy001 has suggested, in a similar vein, in #172 that a DOI or ISBN be applied to the GitBook to make it more discoverable and indexable.
