Somewhere in the basics section there should be a mention of how it's important to keep your phone/tablet/computer's software updated, as that can help prevent viruses. Also, where to look to find out if your device's software is out of date. And what to do if your hardware is too old to support the software update.

If you would like to write some content for this page feel free to based on the instructions in our contributing page. If not someone else will get to it eventually. I will close this issue now.
