This may have unintended repercussions for the published-ness of the GitBook, the GitBook people may wish to be looped in on this if it goes ahead.
OK thanks for bringing it up. We'll chat about it as a group and then I can see how the sync is affected between GitBook and GitHub. We may be able to uncouple them, make the change, then recouple. But I think it would be good to engage with their helpdesk first!
Absolutely on engaging with GitBook's helpdesk about changing from master branch to main branch. If it happens, all contributors will need to sync their forks to get their 'master' branches to change.
