AoV period search results differ across ZTF bands #346

and VStar's AoV period search plugin, @yorkpf neatly summarises the issue in email (Apr 2023):

Why is VStar able to find the correct period based on the zg data (“correct” because visual inspection of the folded light curve demonstrates its “correctness” for both zg and zr, when folded) yet, not only can VStar NOT find this “correct" period when processing the zr data, but it yields an incorrect period (“incorrect” because the value given produces a messy phase plot when both zg and zr are folded).
