Server crashing #2

Open AAvivB opened 8 years ago

AAvivB commented 8 years ago

Server is crashing when player takes damage / dies / spawns (one or more of those, I'm not really sure). I don't know why, I have been trying to figure it out for few hours and I couldn't, it seems like when I remove the memcpy if syncDataFrozen is true, it works fine. if (pPlayerData[playerid]->syncDataFrozen) { memcpy(pSyncData, &lastSyncData[playerid], sizeof(CSyncData)); } else { memcpy(&lastSyncData[playerid], pSyncData, sizeof(CSyncData)); }

I tried doing multiple stuff, and I couldn't figure out what is going on there. server_log: [18:52:39] [debug] Server crashed due to an unknown error [18:52:39] [debug] Native backtrace: [18:52:39] [debug] #0 775de45b in ?? @kurta999 @oscar-broman Can you try to help me with this? Thanks.

oscar-broman commented 8 years ago

I suppose you could add a check if lastSyncData is valid.

AAvivB commented 8 years ago

Is there a function to do that or something? I have no clue what can be wrong with the lasySyncData since it's definitely not null, and it was used already(it was set in the lastsync before it was frozen). Hope you can get give me a hand with that. Thanks. @oscar-broman

oscar-broman commented 8 years ago

Could you compile it with debug symbols and run the server with a debugger?

AAvivB commented 8 years ago

Uhhh... I hope this is what you asked for, @oscar-broman

The thread 0x48fc has exited with code 0 (0x0). 'samp-server.exe' (Win32): Loaded 'C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll'. Symbols loaded. 'samp-server.exe' (Win32): Loaded 'PATH\SA-MP Server\plugins\YSF.dll'. Symbols loaded. Tried running the debugger once again, came up with this when server crashed: The thread 0x4acc has exited with code 0 (0x0).
