Equipment

I'd like to change the purview of the Equipment page to become an additional resource rather than an accessory for Events. I'd like it to be able to feed information to the website as well as be able to take the place of the spreadsheet we have in the drive as well as the information that is on the wiki. The way I see this working is as follows.

Fields

Each piece of equipment should have the following data:

Categories

It should be possible to categorize equipment. I think there would be 2 levels of categories, the top being Sound/Power/Lighting/Rigging/Misc and then subcategories within those.

Views

Additional Features

It might be cool to be able to link this to R&M in some form where people can say that something is broken or submit an issue with Equipment

Additionally, there should be a button to add new equipment, currently you have to type a hard coded url in.

Do you want exec to be able to manage equipment? For that matter, how about organizations and locations? Right now they have read on all 3

Lets give them full permissions on equipment. Leave the others as is, those change so infrequently and this way we don't add duplicates without a second look.

Alright, the immediate issue is handled

cc @wjiang42

the only benefit i can see to this is possibly helping with equipment allocation during tri-event weekends, but otherwise I think this is outdated

There might be a newer equipment issue, but I don't remember. @stella5423890 and I started working on a system at once point that could actually take inventory and account for items within items.
