Improve README #54

Fixed formatting, applied Mardown conventions, fixed typos, added table of contents, clarified installation steps. See the single commits for details.

There are a couple issues i can see of initial review - the updated one uses windows.zip even though MacOS users would want the mac version, but it's a significant improvement over mine currently. I'll probably adapt it and improve it further - one notable change is that i started shipping one-click installers (or more accurately, few-click installers)
