There is a compatibility issue between ecgtools and recent versions of fsspec (>=2023.6.0). I have opened an issue with ecgtools to get this resolved: https://github.com/ncar-xdev/ecgtools/issues/160. However, until a fix is implemented in ecgtools, I have pinned fsspec at 2023.5.0. This pin should be removed once the issue is resolved.
