I've update the rose config file to set default-prefix=u. This setting appears to be primarily for the command-line rosie create interface though, rosie go selects the au database by default

The GUI uses a sorted list of the repositories and sets the default to the first one rather than checking the configuration prefix-default (run_choices_dialog in lib/python/rose/gtk/dialog.py).

Could perhaps be considered a rose bug?
