Clear-sky radiance (CSR) observations from Himawari-8/AHI have been assimilated into UKMO global PS suites for some time. Now that H8/AHI CSR data stream is well established in the Bureau it's time to switch on the AHI OPS tasks in our APS3 global suite.
This ticket describes changes required to switch on AHI CSR assimilation in APS3 global suite as well as the scientific evaluation of its impact on the analyses and forecasts.
