In this PR:

Added an input that specifies the version of the pytest tests. This will be defaulting to the existing functionality of the pytests on main.

For now, we will park this change. Seems like a half-measure if packaged tests are not too far down the pipeline. The pulling of a test repository would have to be reworked, anyway.
