scripts uploaded here - https://github.com/ACES-CMZ/reduction_ACES/pull/372 Needed a little work to add the beam information, make sure units are correct, and change the CRPIXs and CRVALs of the MUSTANG data (move to the middle of cropped region, otherwise feather was regridding the image incorrectly)
Using the SgrB2_5pass1.0.2_10mJy_10mJy_w_session5_final_smooth4_PlanckCombined from here https://dataverse.harvard.edu/dataset.xhtml?persistentId=doi:10.7910/DVN/HPATJB version 10the Feb 2020 (not newest). There appears to be a minor offset compared to the ACES data for the newest upload 24 the Apr 2020, is this a known potential? NB: ACES, Meekat ++ are in agreement so I don't think the issue is with these
The pointing issue I think is something we knew about.... at least I thought I remember someone saying something about that.... but ... hmm. Might've come up here: https://github.com/CentralMolecularZone/DataSetVisualizations/blob/aces_vs_carma_vs_mgps/CMZ_Overview_3mmcontinuum.ipynb
Sgr A* is a problem in the MUSTANG data too, not just the ACES data. It's a tough spot to get right.
Some comparisons between the 12m+mustang and the mustang
Uploading to /upload/cont_comb_fits/
cont_12mtp_final.fits
= combined 12m+tp
cont_12mtp_final_filled.fits
= combined 12m+tp (+tp outside of 12m mosaic)
I've make some good progress in feathering the ACES 12m data to the MUSTANG data. A lot more of the extended emission is now in the combined map, and the negative bowls e.g. around Sgr B2 appear to be more-or-less sorted. Something weird still going on around Sgr A* (linking to here https://github.com/ACES-CMZ/reduction_ACES/issues/97).
