Here I show a number of positions across the bubble region comparing to our TP cubes, and the Mopra dataset - overall the agreement is pretty good... I think around a 10% agreement across the region.
Note that it isn't completely clear how to correct to the from TA* to TMB in the Mopra data. From Jones et al.
The main beam efficiency of Mopra varies between 0.49 at 86 GHz and 0.44 at 100 GHz (Ladd et al. 2005). However, the Mopra beam has substantial sidelobes (Ladd et al. 2005) so that the extended beam efficiency, appropriate for the extended emission we are mostly studying here, is quite different (0.65 at 86 GHz). Since we are largely concerned in this paper with the spatial and velocity structure, we have mostly left the intensities in the T∗A scale, without correction for the beam efficiency onto the TMB scale, except for some of the quantitative analysis sections.
So around 0.65 is the best option? This is what I used above...
Just to also keep this in mind for combination with the ALMA 12m+7m #192
The situation is a lot worse for HCO+
Here you can see that there is a pretty large difference between the HCO+ TP individual fields, highlighting that this is probably a pipeline issue - probably the poor baseline...
Stupid questions - are the TP in units of main beam brightness temperature or antenna temperature?
