Number of Antennas Used: 27
11Dec 16:39:57 Starting project 22B-193.
11Dec 16:39:57 The band(s) used is(are): X K.
11Dec 16:41:35 On source 3C286 with all available antennas.
11Dec 16:39:57 Antenna(s):20 have recently updated baseline parameters to correct for errors resulting from their recent relocation. Please check for any significant errors and submit them to the NRAO Helpdesk (https://science.nrao.edu/observing/helpdesk) under the VLA Observing department.
11Dec 16:39:57 To access your data from the NRAO archive visit: https://science.nrao.edu/facilities/vla/archive All VLA science data are processed through the VLA calibration pipeline. Issues noted but not flagged by staff during pipeline run:
ea08 hardware issue, flagged
ea14 A0C0 scan 43 18:43:57~18:44:39 L polarization amp drops out, very high weights, recommend flagging
no low QA scores
step 14: ~12% of data flagged, seems normal
step 13:
final amp time cal: ea27. I'm not sure if this is normal behaviour, or if we need to flag something?
otherwise everything looks ok
step 17:
step 19:
The plot from step 13 does look strange: I think the data points should all be around unity? Then several other antennas, including ea09, ea18, ea21, do not seem right either. Link to the plots
However, these plots are showing the calibration table, not the calibrated data themselves. So the high scatters may just mean that a large correction is to be applied to the raw data. We can run the calibration pipeline and then make the amp vs. time plot using the calibrated data to confirm this.
