Setup on Desktop:

• Running Bitcore Core 0.16.0 on mainnet on desktop
• Running Eclair v0.2-beta2 on same desktop controlling bitcoind with JSON-RPC
• Eclair successfully funded 4 channels connected to widely connected nodes with 0.001 BTC each. All states are NORMAL.
• Lightning Port 9735 is open on my machine
• My lightning node shows up on recksplorer (https://lnmainnet.gaben.win/) connected to the 4 nodes

Setup on Phone:

• Running Eclair Wallet 0.3.1 on Android 7.0
• Eclair Wallet on Android also successfully funded the same 4 channels above with 0.001 BTC each. All states are NORMAL.

Attempt:

• Eclair on desktop requests lightning payment of 0.0001 BTC
• Eclair Wallet on Android scans the lightning payment QR Code
• Eclair Wallet fails to send payment with 10 attempts reporting the same error:
• Note: I have successfully sent lightning payment using my Eclair Wallet on Android to tip recksplorer in the past. So I know it works. Why is my node on my desktop unreachable?
• My desktop Eclair client is also able to send out lightning payments. I successfully tipped recksplorer with it. So it has no problem sending out payments. I'm just not sure if it has trouble receiving payments or the Eclair Wallet on Android has trouble reaching my desktop node.

Nevermind, I realized the channels just do not have enough funds. I changed the amount to 0.00001 BTC and it went through immediately.

Perhaps we need better error messages.
