Google docs corruption on Mac #126

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install googlecl on Mac (I have 10.5.8 PPC) from Macports (don't know if
this has anything to do with it)
2A. Try editing a document using --editor vim
2B. Try running get on a document

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It would be nice to see the document the way it looks in Google Docs, but
instead I get a corrupted file, almost looks like like some weird regreps going
on.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using googlecl 0.9.7 on OS X 10.5.8 (PPC)

Please provide any additional information below.
My gdata version is 2.0.10_0 also here is a link to the document that I am
trying with

comprehension.

That file is a new-version document. Try running the version in the repository,
which fixes the issue as best as possible. It's still impossible to update the
document due to a bug in gdata itself.
