From my experience of dealing with different contexts of (well- or even uniquely-identified) data-models, exploiting the 'partition' concept of DDS might be more powerful (e.g. to distinguish between 'real-world' and 'simulated data' or between scoping of LAN and WAN data), also as partitions can be hierarchical expressions (with wildcard support) and specific usage (such as 'destination-oriented partitions') can also enhance distribution efficiency (as such 'directed-traffic' will not suffer from any multicasting overhead) .. just an idea ..
