I can upload the zipped generated sdf file in the other repository (which is the one that allows to use coman on gazebo without ROS). This repository should be viewed as the way to generate the SDF, it seems fair for now that ROS is required.
Simply add the sdf file in coman_gazebo. Are you doing it Mirko?

No, I pushed it in yarp_gazebo_plugin. I think that if someone wants to use only the compiled SDF, he will never pull this repository, so it's useless to add the SDF here. In the other repository the SDF is under the world folder

Generate sdf file using the script require all ros-hydro package to be installed. If the package already contains the plain sdf file, this dipendency will be removed and user will enjoy the gazebo coman model withou need to install all ros stuff! :-)
