Problem when Running the Bot

Hi AFFT-520,

When the bot is running, I can see it opens the government's Cita Previa page, it chooses Barcelona, but it does not choose the Tramite I set up in the initial form. Then the bot immediately relaunch the initial Cita Previa page, chooses Barcelona, and then relaunch... It never goes to the page where to input personal information such as NIE, name, nationality etc.

I also have noticed that the initial form does not have a textbox to input nationality, which is required for tramites such as toma de huella, TIE issurance, etc. So, I guess that even if the bot goes to the page that request personal information, it would still not run properly.

Could you please help on this?

Hi. I tried "EU Residency Certificate (CUE)". Is that the option we should choose if we are looking for appointment to get NIE?

Looks like the Spanish government is prohibiting the use of bots to search for citas previas. Even the Selenium add-on web browsers is not allowed. Sad. :(

AFAIK they can only do that by headers or by monitoring client activity. This appeared the first time I tried it, so for sure my activity was not suspicious. And as for headers - we can just provide whatever we want in the bot. That would require modification of bot though :-(

Okay, then it is the same issues. Another bot NIE project here on GitHub has the same problem. I would not say it's bad. Maybe it's the right step to make the process fair again and no one has to pay a high price for a layer or agency.

Back to the manual approach 🙈

@BitJuggler90 , full agree. Actually because of that I tried today to find an appointment "manually" and I managed to do this just in 3 attempts.

Hi, I had the same issue. Does this mean the bot is no longer working? I’m 2 months trying to get an appointment.. it’s sending me mad I’m also finding chrome doesn’t work even manually

I also tried a simple python program that just clicks fixed x-y-coordinates on the screen to click through the process. But just after a day of working it got also blocked. Also, the auto-completion suggestions in my Chrome browser for the fields "NIE" and "name" are now gone. Seems that they're working currently on the page.

I also tried it now almost for a month. I didn't expect to be so difficult to even get an appointment. And the next question is when will it be? Next year? So have to continue to working in co-working spaces, because I can't get an internet provider contract without a bank account, which I don't get without a NIE. Despite, I cannot sign a contract for the local energy supplier. That system is so broken :D

@BitJuggler90 My best advice is to book at Lleida, it’s 1hr20 from Sants station on train and you can get NIE appointments next day. I’ve checked all places and this is the best option. Bcn appointments will be 2023 onwards so can’t wait for that. Good luck

@RSPKM I did that too and canceled the appointment when I saw that one is not allowed to book appointments outside the province in which you are living in. I did not want to take the risk after that ride to be rejected.

AFAIK, solo pueden hacerlo mediante encabezados o monitoreando la actividad del cliente. Esto apareció la primera vez que lo probé, así que seguro que mi actividad no era sospechosa. Y en cuanto a los encabezados, podemos proporcionar lo que queramos en el bot. Sin embargo, eso requeriría la modificación del bot :-(

This is sadly the error we're getting as well with a python solution since October '22. Sadly, none in the community has managed to resolve this yet.

Seems the government does its best to make our life harder, and the private companies that buy citas more prosperous.
