Dear @DrMajed86,

I see that you starred this repository; thank you for your interest in paleo_utils.

To make this project worth your while, I would appreciate any suggestions for utilities that you might eventually want to see in this repository (or any feedback in general). The Open Thread is Discussions is one place you can do this (or in this issue).

The current feature-plans include (1) a very general architecture for making labels (as images, svgs, (\LaTeX), and plain text) for use in printing and the creation of paleontological plates, (2) chronostratigraphical visualization utilities, (3) possible tools for enhancing and extracting images (likely a wrapper incorporating some of PIL), and (4) some utilities for 3D model creation.

At a minimum, I will be using paleo_utils for my own work, but I want to make it as useful to others as possible. I am developing the project in my free time, so there might be some latency in addressing comments; I usually reply within 24 hours.

Adding this to the Backlog since I expect this issue to exist over timescales longer than several Sprints.

Also, this issue #7 is highly relevant to the discussion in this issue.
