Top requested feature is adding the ability to tag the maps with additional crowdsourced annotations and details.

Per map layer?

Salam A7med @AHAAAAAAA , hope you're well inshallah.. really this post is first and foremost to show my appreciation for this amazing project you have started and praying it grows really big to sustain this knowledge and history for generations to come... please keep going..

I know what you're doing takes an enormous amount of work but hope you don't mind me suggesting you consider adding religious endowment maps... just want to draw your attention to them in case you missed them as a source.. they are crude and hand drawn with a 8alam abo nu9 mo mbarra and a hell to reproject but they have a ton of lost history that's being erased as we speak and usually you will have multiple data points for the same area with different info... check the layers http://ibnkan.github.io/sa7il/ (https://github.com/ibnkan/sa7il/tree/gh-pages/images)... There's probably tens of thousands of these crude papers imagine if you could stitch them all on your map...

Saw you wanted some Russian translations. no promises but may be able to connect you with some russians living in Bahrain who may help if you let me know what's required.

Again thank you for this great project o Allah yewafe8k lekel khair inshallah...

Salam, Reda

Salam Reda ,

Thank you so much for the kind words, it makes me really happy!

I absolutely love this idea and was hoping to discover similar things through this project. The site you already put together is great, I'd love it if we can collaborate on this! What portion of the religious endowment maps are digitized and at what resolution? Where can we get them? Do they have any metadata attached (year of release, who created it, etc)?

I'll open a new issue for this topic so we can flesh it out more and tag you. This is very exciting!

I already got Russian translations but thank you.

P.S. الفردان نسايبي، من اي ديرة انت؟

Ahmed
