Goals for 4/18 #1

@tanushri27

By class time on 4/18 we need to have:

Exactly what pages the site will have The text for all of those pages

The only pages I can think of would be:

index - this just contains a very basic summary of the project. It should contain what the project is and the goals of the project.

research - the past research that has gone into the project. Just summarize the work that has been posted into the Google Drive folder Dr McGuffee shared.

api - just make this page, I will update it with the information from https://github.com/AHOCHI/AHOCHI-server once that part is stable

contact - A link to https://github.com/AHOCHI and Dr McGuffee's email should be enough.

Just do the text on the pages. Messing with themes is the last thing, and trying to work with the things you have now is a lot more trouble. Just a few simple html and css pages should be enough. If I need to I can build the actual pages pretty easily, just make sure that the text is ready.

All you need to upload this week are text files. Just name them after the page they will be. Don't mess with any css or html this week.

Index:AHOCHI (a Choctaw word meaning “to find”) is a proposed Humanitarian Free and Open Source Software (HFOSS) project that allows social workers to perform geographically constrained searches on behalf of their clients. This would mean that a social worker in the field could quickly and easily inform their clients of the closest institutions that would be able to meet their needs. Some examples of types of support would be a food bank or free clinic.

Research:need more time to sort them out.(40% done)

API: List of all API.We have the list we are just going to list them with one line description.

Contact:Professor Mcguffee' email with little profile discription.

Services: Need to discuss. Resources: http://scrapy.org/doc/
