Added a new script that contains all the methods that were used for data ingestion #61

The files that were sent by the aimm scientists came in different formats. Joe had provided some methods in a notebook already which were added to this script, as well. The objective is to have these methods at hand not only for the notebook but for their use in other scripts or a python terminal

This is a PR off of the main branch of @jmaruland's fork and the commit history is not what was intended. We'll try again with a new branch.
