I'm running a 41-class patch wise classification network, and realising that if the number of classes are gt about 10, they are really hard to tell apart in the GUI.
1) The classes don't fit in the GUI (they disappear down below the frame - see image below).
2) The only thing you have are color codes to rely on. Having 41 district colors that the user can reliably tell apart is not possible. Hence, there is a need for a "display the class name when you hover over with the mouse pointer" or ideally also the option to "display the class name on each tile with a customizable font size.
