log an error when the metric is not found on prometheus #11

Log an error, when the requested metric is not available on prometheus so it just returns an empty list. Check for empty list, if empty, log it.

Issues go stale after 90d of inactivity. Mark the issue as fresh with /remove-lifecycle stale. Stale issues rot after an additional 30d of inactivity and eventually close.
