At the moment, current method of deciding the prizes is simple rule-based approach whereby
if probability < 0.95:
return oneof normalPrize
else:
return oneof rarePrize
I am also looking at other sampling approach like rejection sampling, weighted random selection. Not too sure which one to go with for now.
