Enhancement for in a future, far far away.

Eventually, I'd like to move on to a kegerator system to conserve, carbonate and serve my brews. This issue shall be used as a board to store my thoughts and discuss several add-on design/development things that come with it.

Kegerator Tap List

The fine folks over at keg.ninja offer free-of-charge software solutions for various home-brewery-related things, such as a Brewery Pipeline Management system and a Kegerator Tap List. I'm especially interested in the latter. I believe this could be run on a Raspberry Pi, hooked up to a small display. Additionally, I think it may also be retrieved on a computer on a server. This would mean that instead of a dedicated display, I could access the data using a laptop, or even on smartphones. Just be sure to stay mindful of access rights...

However, the keg.ninja demo hardly looks impressive. Having looked at the CSS, there seems to be some work in re-working the css to achieve a more elegant and modern layout.

Edit 2020-11-07: An old tablet (iPad) would be fantastic for this use case.

Here is an overview of the equipment they used:

Total: ~$700 to $1600. Pretty steep, although the low-end can be reached with a lot of luck and second-hand equipment.
