Changes lost on clicking directly on another component #217

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create two nodes
  2. Click on one and edit the description. With the description field still focused then click on the second node.
  3. Observe that the text in the first node is lost and not saved.

Expected behavior

The text in the first node should be saved
