When adding a new building center point, or a new trail feature point without the POITYPE defined. It would be nice if the QC tools prompted the data manager to ask the user if they want to make this a POI.
However, this turns out to be too complicated to implement in the time I have. It will require reading the add/delete tables to see if the feature is new since the parent (or default?) version (I do not know how to do that).
However, the workaround is very easy. The data manager should be reviewing the changes in the version (using ArcMap or Pro). This will easily show a list of new facilities, and the value of POITYPE.
