Melanie reports that in some cases they would get a point, but not a complete set of attributes. They believe this was related to rapid data entry in very busy sections of the survey. Multiple users reported this problem. It might also be related to very large transects (they never start/stop transects). They are using an older version (before the distance on tracklog feature, and the export to FGDB)

automatically segmentation of a track log every XX minutes might be a good idea for memory and drawing performance.

I set the automatic split interval @ 1000 gps points. This should also help with track log length calculations.
