This would look like moving the stop/start (on/off transect) point forward or backwards in time, snapping to already obtained GPS points. This seems useful if you turned on/off observing at the wrong time, but the movement would be based on comparison with the background map. I'm not sure this is a good idea. It may be better to force the user to fix this in post processing.
