Backspace when using Name/Description tags attempts to delete items.

Can you describe the problem?

When attempting to press backspace while entering a custom name or description, 
a prompt appears asking if the user is sure he or she wishes to delete the item 
being described.

What steps will reproduce it?
1. Use a Name Tag or Description Tag on any item.
2. Type some text.
3. Press backspace in an attempt to delete text.

What version do you use?

2.78.

What's your resolution?

1920x1080.

The same thing happens with the original bp. I guess Valve broke it recently.
