Failure to start #25

Using Wine under Fedora. Getting a failure to start (after downloading patches and applying 1.1 zip). What is needed to figure this out?

What do you mean you're using Wine? We have a Linux binary for the launcher that's been run fine on Fedora before.

Dependencies are listed on each release page. Once the launcher is set up, you'll likely need to add a launch flag to the game to prevent it from crashing as per the readme at https://github.com/AM2R-Community-Developers/AM2R-Autopatcher-Linux

Fedora instructions are the same as on any other distro:

Make sure that you have the AM2RLauncher dependencies installed as well multilib / i686 / 32-bit support.
Make the AM2RLauncher executable (chmod +x ./AM2RLauncher.Gtk or do it via GUI)
Execute the AM2RLauncher
Download the patch files, select AM2R 1.1, and install the latest Community Updates
Refer to here to resolve the Crashes on boot based on your GPU

Closed by new 2.2.0 AM2RLauncher release / merging of gpu-fix on Autopatcher-Linux. Delete and reinstall the profile (go to the mod settings tab, open the open profile content folder button, delete the folder it opens). Should you still have issues, feel free to reopen this.
