CPU: r5 3600 macOS version: 10.15.4 15h/16h or 17h: 17h I am using and can reproduce on the latest patches: yes, using newest kexts from Acidanthera and OpenCore

Describe the bug So basically I wanted to run Parallels 13.3.1 for running Windows 2004 guest, but Windows doesn't boot at all. So, I went to 1909 version - still appears that it doesn't work... So I choosed my Ubuntu 20.04 iso - and appearently, I found the probable cause, but it's so far away from my knowledge.

Probably cause is the issue found here: https://communities.vmware.com/thread/409417 but I tried disabling NX Protection Paging and it didn't help either. Maybe this is releated to SIP or some option in BIOS? Why for some people it just works - I think thats probably because of one option causing whole mess, I remember when I had problems with ethernet card disconnecting every few mins and solution was to disable some misc network setting in bios, and this was also Hackintosh issue...).

Installed VMWare Fusion 10.1.5 for now with screen permission fix: https://github.com/rvermeulen/vmware-fusion-screen-recording-permission-fix Everything seems to work, maybe thats not Metal-based GPU accelerated solution, but anyway it works probably better than VBox which is horrendous.

Gonna not close the issue because for some people Parallels works, so we should anyway get information how to run it.

Parallels worked partially on my config with 1950x, but after it boots the virtualized OS only recognizes 1 core no matter how many cores are set through the settings.

Parallels 13.1.0 is the last version of Parallels that works on AMD. This is not fixable.
