@KatrionaGoldmann I've made the following additions to the repo:

• Created an environment.yml file, which can be used to create a conda environment and automatically install the dependencies. Basically, does the same as what the requirements.txt did when using pip, but instead uses conda to install the dependencies. To create a new conda environment using this .yml file, try conda env create -f environment.yml
• Created a .pre-commit-config.yaml file that sets up pre-commits. Pre-commits will already be installed when creating the conda environment from the environment.yml file, but then must run pre-commit install --install-hooks for the pre-commits to start working. So far, only the trailing whitespace checks and the Git large file checks are running.
• I have not yet setup github actions. Lets discuss which actions are worth adding there.

This looks good to me. We can consider using flake/black down the line.

I had to move timm to the pip section, and I removed wandb for the time being, but otherwise worked well.
