Why is waiting.mo so complex #62

I'm quite new with PNLib. There must be some reason, that the unit "Waiting.mo" is so complex, which I don't understand now. Why can't a simple TD fullfill the waiting purpose?

This model is from an old project in which I haven't been involved. From my point of view, a simple TD would be sufficing.

In general, the examples:

are not checked for correct simulation results, because we do not know what the expected results are.
