Castro (Compressible Astrophysics): An adaptive mesh, astrophysical compressible (radiation-, magneto-) hydrodynamics simulation code for massively parallel CPU and GPU architectures.
Space will be allocated for the passive scalars in the conserved state if we set USE_SPECIES_SOURCES=TRUE
in the makefile. This is off by default, as most applications don't need it.
