Many message parameters are related to the physical characteristics of the AIS messaging and are not really needed for simulation of traffic. Consider removing the following communication/GPS related parameters to scope the message content to a logical content rather than the physical communication content:

Position accuracy (GPS related)
EPFD fix types (type of electronic position fix device)
EPFD system status
Transmission control for long-range broadcast message
DTE (data terminal equipment indicator)
Assigned mode (autonomous, assigned)
Regional Reserved values
Differential Correction Data
Class B communication flags in message type 18
Position latency in message type 27
AIS version in message type 5
Retransmit flag and sequence number in message type 6, 12
