COM_009 | FOM Module for MEL/MIL | The use of Master Event List/Master Incident List applications is a common in CAX to support EXCON and Gaming cells to guide the exercise towards the identified training objectives. Key information related to scripted events, incidents and injects can be related to simulation control actions and simulated events and state changes. In order to better support After Action Review there is a need to create these relationships in the data produced by the simulation environment. Therefore the proposed FOM module is intended allow publication of MEL/MIL related data in a HLA federation with key information regarding to the units involved, geographical area and other information needed by the simulations to determine if and when to include references to MEL/MIL when publishing simulation data. | TC | The use of Master Event List/Master Incident List applications is a common in CAX to support EXCON and Gaming cells to guide the exercise towards the identified training objectives. Proposed Design Events and Incidents as FOM Object Classes Registered by MEL/MIL system as objects and live as long as the event/incident is “Active” References list related NETN FAFD Aggregate or Platform entities using NETN UUID (Optional) References geographical area (Optional) The set of current Events and Incidents relevant to an application can be subscribed and presented to the user The set of current Events and Incidents relevant to an application can be referenced when publishing simulation data E.g. when producing reports using LBML additional information related to current MEL/MIL can be added The set of current Events and Incidents relevant to an application can influence the simulation directly or indirectly E.g. reduced visibility in an area, high threat level, … Injects as FOM Interaction Class Can contain instructions for simulation operator Special Type of Inject is “Scripted Simulation Instruction” using/related to NETN LBML | Björn Löfstrand, bjornl@pitch.se | 2017-07-06 |
