Additionally there is a refactor of the metric prefixes function.

Thanks, looks good! I had to run npm install node-pre-gyp to get it to run (some kind of missing dependency, idk), I'll push this change and then merge it. Once I'm done, can you git pull, git switch master, npm ci in the reactfront folder and check that npm start still works?
