Fatal error on vanilla OC 1.5.5.1 and 1.5.6 with only VQMOD after update to php 5.4 and Apache 2.4.6 #123

Error first occurred on 1.5.6. I tested on a clean install of 1.5.5.1 with no
other mods made and it repeated exactly. The vanilla install tested fine added
only vqmod to break and gen error.

Only occurred after update of Apache2 to latest stable 2.4.6 and update of PHP
to 5.4.17.

The error code is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method VQSearchNode::getContent() in
/home/*****/public_html/vqmod/vqmod.php on line 578

What version of vQmod? This could only happen if the file you upload is
corrupted/incomplete

2.4.1 is the Version. cPanel has auto-triggered a support ticket in relation
to the issue as well now. It may have something to do with it. They are
working on it now and I will update. (The issue seems to be happening with a
few different scripts across the dedi) ty

Hi Dave. Did cPanel get back to you about this?

CPanel did get back to me. I was actually surprised by how fast. The problem
was that I did not have their IP whitelisted yet as it was only a few minutes.
They had me to whitelist and then run a configured fix via SSH. It fixed the
problems I was having but I have no idea what they did.

I wish I knew as I would have loved to contribute it to the group but I would
suggest opening a ticket with cPanel if you have the same issue.

Thanks

Weird, at least you got it fixed and it's not vQmod as such
