obsv prop and procedure as the one concept/PID #4

re concepts that are collections and also observable properties (eg texture class) They include the procedure in the descriptions

This made it a bit confusing to know: whether it is appropriate to use these obsv properties in association with results obtained by different procedures to know whether to use the YB classifiers if the procedure that was used to obtain the results was unknown

Well that's in the definition ... so if it is possible to observe this property using a different procedure then I guess the definition needs to be updated, else another term/definition added.

I might need a bit more info in order to provide a cogent response. I get what an observable property is, but what is your definition of a 'collection'?

There are many things in the YB that can be observed multiple ways e.g slope. Even the site concept itself - there are different 'ways' of observing a site
