Cleanups #28

We will use LFS for conformance work. However, LFS is not working on forks. Therefore, I create a conformance branch in the main repo and will push conformance related stuff there. Later we will create another PR to merge conformance into main and review all the changes during the meeting.

In this PR I just move some minor edits I did some time ago so I don't have to do it again in the new branch.
