What features do we need?

I'm about to work on an all-new-designed website. Before design and implementation, I should know what exactly features do we need.

Now I have 2:

• News publishing with multi-lang feature
• Special event announcements (e.g. banners)

Please provide others.

I think if we want to "light up" our website, we can use some HTML5 animations....

We (Lion, A2, Bai, me, etc) had discussion about current website and decided to refactor, before we discovered much more terrifying historical problems, which then convinced us to work out an all-new-designed website.

We can generate website content locally and push compiled website. my Nodejs scripts run to generate, not to respond HTTP requests.

Just a reminder here, our web server ( sponsored by PCBeta ) is now with NodeJS support. Also, a webhook would be established soon, syncing homepage between the server and GitHub repo.

Actually, we can use dynamic server such as Node.JS and generate static content with a wget -r crawl, since we have only static content.
