@TomHAnderson is there plan to update this for php8.x with Laminas. Looks like this is still requiring ZF to work. Now that php 7.x is no longer supported by this month, would like to see if there is an update coming on this.

Hi Dawa,

I have not updated my Zend libraries since Laminas came out. And I no longer update those Laminas libraries. Today I focus on framework-agnostic libraries (https://github.com/API-Skeletons/doctrine-graphql). Even my Laravel libraries are mature and haven't required an update for some time.

(the company formerly known as NV) product is now based on code that is 10 years old or older. The average lifespan of a PHP project without a substantial rewrite is 10 years. You're the first to request an update to this free, open-source, project.

The driving force in open-source is a need for a product. Nobody seems to need my products because nobody has submitted patches for them. I certainly don't have any projects that require the libraries you mentioned. I'm not opposed to merging patches to old libraries but I don't have any vested interest in updating them just for completeness.

Thank you @TomHAnderson for quick response, well migration guide to laminas or some alternative would be great!. You have great documentation guide on that orm related book, updating that to reflect laminas would be great help for some of us who are on zf world that can help at least migrate code to work with laminas.

But I don't have a vested interest in the library and you're asking me for free work. A better approach would be to ride that unicorn and offer to pay for such help.
