Request for updates on conversations/workshops/activities – arising out of the RP Strategy session related to encouraging cross fertilisation (and updates/actions arising from these) - including phosphorous developments

ACTION @sarahcleary to share email with actions from RP Strategy session. @Keith-Pembleton to work with @sarahcleary to determine actions for agenda for next RP meeting.

Actions to be converted to GitHub issues: • Organise workshop on soil “P” – USQ Lead – include Neil; Enli; AgR • Organise discussion on Rice Model - USQ Lead – to organise relevant parties for discussion • Organise workshop on harmonising approaches for development of crop models/crop processes - UQ to Lead • Enli and Hamish to discuss leveraging resources/PhD students - More difficult to fund implementation, but easier for science development.
• Organise workshop on Carbon decomposition and nitrogen mineralisation – Enli (lead) – potentially implementation tasks can be broken up for student development • Enli and Hamish to discuss synergies in Nitrogen leaching work • Organise discussion on Root System development – Hamish to lead – include Karine; Enli • Organise discussion on Maize and Soybean – microclimate development – Neil; Val; Enli; Hamish • RP meetings – actively seeking input from others about different modelling approaches; – invite Di P to present CLEM in more detail to RP. The RP needs to keep itself abreast of best practice
