8 RP Strategy Session

Using portions of the original agenda as a basis for discussion:

• Sprints:

  • discussion over recent NZ meet: outcomes, impediments that need resolution
    • overcoming covid isolation (eg. cross enterprise jabber/teams, software tools );
    • suggestions for future sprints?
  • outcome: nominate person to advise work areas to RP/SC

• Github process

  • addresses ACTION from AI SC meeting: RP to review the issue of being involved at the start of development discussions. Could this be done via seminars, sprints, forums, video chats, other mechanisms?
  • describe successes & shortcomings
  • how to resolve: (eg)
    • proforma when creating a major task: ensure interested parties are contacted
    • add potential tasks as issues, apply a new tag: "pie in the sky"

• Website / Researchgate: do we have any comments about its general utility, suggestions for change, examples of best practise?

• Operations

  • addresses ACTION from AI SC Meeting: RP to provide 1 pagers around key issues requiring funding support
  • discuss upcoming collaborative papers & projects (led by @Keith-Pembleton)
