3 days ago We’re building an initial inventory of tools across performer teams. This inventory is complementary to the some of the information requested by CRA about tool maturity, use cases, etc. but is meant to serve as a high-level index of tools.
We’re asking for help from each team to fill out or correct info that we’ve compiled for their respective tools in the attached spreadsheet. For each tool that you’re developing in the context of the BDF program, please provide:
- Name of the tool
- A brief description of what the tool does (or will do)
- A few keywords to illustrate the type/category of tool (e.g., data harmonization, de-ID, LLM, ETL, imaging, genomics, etc.)
- The corresponding Technical Area (TA1, TA2, or TA3)
- A preferred contact for the tool or questions about your team’s tools in general (if not the Technical POC)
- A link to the tool (e.g., in GitHub or wherever a live version of the tool can be found)
For the purposes of this inventory, “tools” may include applications, services, databases, APIs, platforms, models, knowledge graphs, or any other technical “product” that your team is building.
Please note that if we haven’t filled in information for any (or all) of your tools in the spreadsheet, it’s only because we haven’t had the time to review and extract info from all performer presentations yet. We greatly appreciate your assistance in capturing a first version of this info. If possible, please return a copy of the spreadsheet with info for your team’s tools by the end of the day on Friday, 9/27.
Please see the below request from ARPA-H for us to submit DNA HIVE tools for their BDF tool catalog. We have some initial info plugged in but per the email we need to add/update as necessary by Friday. I am reaching out to you three initially to help me or direct me to individuals who can help with this request. If we need additional input, please let me know and I can extend to others.

Note that they specifically state this is for each tool that you’re developing “in the context of the BDF program”. So make sure we keep in that context so we follow their guidance and make this useful to BDF toolbox.
