S1 Bursts Seasonal Data Demand Problem #8

Open suatcoskun opened 4 months ago

Hi; When I attempted to prepare an S1 Burst seasonal stack for on-demand processing in MintPy, it failed. Is it possible to create a seasonal stack of S1 Burst datasets with HyP3?

Per @Alex-Lewandowski :

You can create a seasonal SBAS stack of HyP3 interferograms in Vertex. When using the Vertex SBAS tool to create your stack, click the SBAS Filters link. Then click the Seasonal Search toggle and define the dates of the season you wish to skip.

MintPy requires a fully connected stack, so you will need to add custom pairs to bridge the seasons that are skipped. When doing this, you will maintain the best coherence by selecting pairs that span one year, as opposed to making pairs that only bridge the dropped months. For example, if you are filtering out January-April, bridge that gap with December-to-December pairs (not December-to-May pairs) to maintain maximum coherence. Create at least 2-3 pairs to bridge each gap.
